Our Story

🏠 The WB Restaurant was founded in 2016 in the stunning town of Cape Maclear, Mangochi District 🌊. What began as a small, family-run food business quickly became known for its fresh, flavorful meals 🍽️, affordability, and consistent quality, serving both local communities and the many tourists who visit this beautiful lakeside town.

From the beginning, the restaurant focused on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where every guest whether a local family or a traveler passing through could enjoy delicious meals and freshly brewed coffee ☕. It wasn’t just about food; it was about building trust, relationships, and memorable experiences.

As WB Restaurant grew, so did the vision. Today, the restaurant is relocating closer to DMI St. John the Baptist University, Mangochi Campus 📍, along the busy bus stop road. This new location makes it easily accessible to students, staff, travelers 🚗, and nearby communities, providing everyone with quick, convenient service while maintaining the same high standards of food quality and hospitality.
